Semi-private gym

no waiting for equipment

At vitality Micro gym Derby we will never be busy as we limit access the gym to no more than 4 people per a booking slot. You will never have a long queue waiting to use a piece of equipment and you will have plenty of space to do your exercise routine.

Providing much more comfortable and time efficient workout than a typical gym. If you regularly avoid going to your existing gym at peak times to avoid the crowds then vitality micro gym derby is for you. Depending on the time you go and existing bookings you might even get the gym all to yourself!

Limited gym memberships

To allow as much access as possible for members, we only allow monthly memberships which will be capped to a max of 35 memberships. Combined with generous opening times of 5am to 11pm everyday including weekends, this will make sure there is plenty of opportunity to book sessions. Your membership will provide you with the flexibility to go as many times as you want with a session of length of 30-90 minutes.

Self Entry booking system

Vitality Micro Gym Derby is a predominantly unmanned gym. Access to the gym is granted through a app based booking system. This booking system allows you to book access sessions as well as see how many people are booked in the gym for your required time slot. Through the app you will be able to unlock the door to the gym and will be also be provided a pin code to access the main building.

Priority in safety

To ensure safety of every member, 24/7 CCTV is in operation to ensure a safe and comfortable space with the addition of anti-tailgating solutions.

With Vitality Micro gym being an unmanned gym there is an emergency panic alarm which connects to a 24 hour a dedicated call centre who in turn can connect you with emergency services. Working in conjunction with the panic alarm, fall detection wristbands are also provided. This provides additional safety for our members. The wristbands allows for two functions:

Activate the panic alarm from anywhere within the gym
Automatically activate the panic alarm in case of fall where one is knocked unconsciousness or injured.

R&B? Heavy Metal? 90S pop? Whatever gets you moving, you are in control of the music alongside with whoever is also in the gym via Spotify Jam. Everyone gets to add their own song tracks. Got the gym to all yourself? Then you get to be in fully control of the music.

Lockers are provided within the semi private gym space to put all your valuables safely away. In addition there is showers located right outside of the gym space, located next door just off the main corridor.
